Overview
Backuply backs up a WordPress installation — files and database together — on a schedule, and restores from any stored snapshot. Backups can stay on the server or be sent to remote storage, which is what makes them useful when the failure being planned for is the server itself. The licensed edition adds the remote destinations, incremental backups and scheduling that the free edition does not include. Licensing is per site rather than per server.

Files and database together
Each snapshot contains both the WordPress files and the database, so a restore returns the whole site to one point in time.
Remote destinations
Sends backups off the origin server to FTP, SFTP, Amazon S3, Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive.
Scheduled and incremental
Runs on a schedule and stores only what changed since the previous snapshot, keeping storage use down.
One-click restore
Restores a selected snapshot from inside the WordPress admin, without shell access.

Installation
Backuply is installed like any other WordPress plugin, then activated with the license key issued at checkout. Remote destinations are configured from the plugin's settings screen before the first scheduled run.

Per site. A license covers one WordPress installation, so a server hosting several sites needs a license for each site you want to back up.
What does the licensed edition add over the free plugin?
The remote storage destinations, incremental backups and scheduling are part of the licensed edition. The free edition backs up to local storage only.
